Spring in the Valley
Traditionally on the second weekend in October annually the Swan Valley hosts Australia’s largest wine and food festival. Visitors to the region number in their thousands, and the venues are bursting with food, wine, beer, entertainment and a great party vibe.
In October 2010 the Swan Valley will host a new look Spring in the Valley. The exciting month long festival format will attract an even broader mix of people to build on this very popular festival that already attracts over 60,000 people to the Swan Valley each year.
This fantastic new program will be the perfect show case for the region’s very best food, wine, beer, and art as well as family activities. This festival format is aimed at allowing everyone the opportunity to come and really enjoy the Swan Valley and experience what it has to offer.
The Festival will provide a vibrant mix of both free and ticketed events that will engage people from across Perth and the State to this premier food and wine destination.
This year’s program is expected to include art exhibitions, concerts, special tastings, cooking classes, family friendly events and much more.
A complete program of events to be held throughout the month will be released in early August.
Meanwhile, if you would like to charter your own vehicle to enjoy this month long event, you will need to get in quick. Traditionally, vehicles of all sizes are snapped up early.
